Why go
Lisbon is the first European destination for many Brazilians. There are direct flights from several Brazilian cities and it is the starting point for Sintra, Cascais, Óbidos and Porto.
Documents
Brazilian citizens do not need a visa for tourism of up to 90 days in the Schengen Area. A valid passport and travel insurance with at least EUR 30,000 of cover are required. Entry rules can change, so confirm them with your consultant before you travel.
When to go
Spring (April to June) and early autumn (September and October) have mild weather and shorter queues.
How long to stay
4 to 5 days in Lisbon, including a day in Sintra.

Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS) has direct flights from Brazil, about ten hours from São Paulo.
